Thoresby Oct 2023

A lovely last show of the 2023, with fabulous weather, to complete what has been a fantastic year for the club of shows and trips out. Lovely to meet some potential new members too, we hope to see you soon! For some the cars will be put away for the winter, for others some good ‘ole winter Mini Driving. Either way we look forward to another great mini year with Notts About Minis Club in 2024.

Derbyshire Mini Run July 2023

The club enjoyed a trip around Derbyshire to take in Crich Memorial, Carsington Water, lunch at the Tiger Pub in Turnditch, Belper and the lovely driving roads in between.

Wonderland Car Show June 2023

This was an enjoyable event by the club with 10 club minis making an appearance in the glorious sunshine on the fields of Hoveringham’s Ferry Farm. The minis met at the Magna Charta pub in Lowdham and entered the show in convoy, the tents were quickly erected and the BBQ was lit. All the cars looked stunning in the sunshine and a great opportunity was given to share the word about our club with the distribution of plenty of NAM contact cards to other minis around the site. The club also displayed its new range of embroidered Hoodies, T Shirts and Polo Shirts available to all members. Enjoy the photos from this event.

Nottingham Car Show June 2023

This event was held at Wollaton Park, the tents were up and the sausage cobs were on. burger for lunch.. It was a very special occasion for NAM for a number of reasons, firstly it was a very hot day (reaching 31 degrees in the afternoon), then 3 of the club 998cc minis took part in a musical event with the Carlton Male Voice Choir, beeping horns and flashing lights with the music (see the video below) and finally an opportunity was taken for a respectful tribute to Pete Roebuck, an active member who sadly passed away recently). The Last Post was played for us and a minutes silence followed.
